Covid 19 Precautions - Please Read

Salon Reopening

Dear Valued Clients,

 

First and most importantly we want to thank you for your understanding and patience on waiting for our reopening.

 

We want to make you aware of our Guidelines that we are putting into place for our Team and Clients Health & Safety.

Arrival Process:

​

We require that you come to the salon alone for your service.

 

When you arrive at the salon for your service please call us and let us know that you are here. We ask that you remain in your vehicle until we call you to enter the salon for your appointment. This way we can efficiently control physical distancing between clients.

 

Please bring a bag to keep your item of clothing in if you're having colour and changing into a robe. Alternatively, we ask that you wear a t-shirt that you don’t have to worry about if colour accidentally gets spilled on it.

 

Before entering the salon, we will ask you the following questions:

  • Have you had a cough?

  • Have you had a fever?

  • Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the last 14 days?

  • Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

We will then be performing a non-contact Temperature Check. A temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or above will require you to reschedule your appointment.

 

If your temperature is fine, you will be asked to wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. 

 

The staff member will then guide you to the appropriate chair for your service as the waiting area will not be used for the time being.

 

We will require you to wear a mask with ear loop coverings(not ones that tie or bandanas as they will result in us not being able to perform your service, you will be required to wear your mask for the entire time of your service)

What to expect from US:

​

  • All Staff members will be wearing face masks and face shields while performing your service and gloves where necessary - colour applications / Manicures / Pedicures.

  • All staff members will be wearing a new disposable Aprons for each client.

  • The waiting area will be out of use at this time unless you are asked to sit here while your colour is developing to remain physical distancing if necessary.

  • Clients will be set 6ft apart while their service is being performed.

  • Every chair will be cleaned and then disinfected after each client.

  • All tools that we use to perform our Craft will be cleaned and then Disinfected after every client.

  • All Beverages will be served in Plastic / Paper disposable cups for the time being - nothing will be self-service - your cup will have your name written on it 

  • There will be Hand Sanitizer at each station/shampoo area and bathroom.

  • WE WILL BE USING BARBICIDE DISINFECTANTS THAT KILL COVID-19 AND THAT ARE EPA REGISTERED.

 

All of our staff members have the BARBICIDE EXAM CERTIFICATE that requires each of us to know about proper cleaning and steps to disinfect.

 

As much as we love and appreciate our loyal clients and give you hugs and handshakes none of this will be happening for the time being. It will be virtual hugs and handshakes.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY is our number one priority for our staff and clients.
